The college is old and renowned. It has great faculty and alumnus network. The college is near to metro station and hence there is ease in commutation. Also the college exposes students to lots of opportunities and helps them in overall personality development.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is regulated by Delhi University and was regularly updated. There were subject choices provided to students every semester apart from compulsory subjects which really helped students to enhance their knowledge even in the non commerce subjects. The course syllabus was regularly revised. Also the college took students out for industrial exposure and practical training. Many seminars and workshops conducted in the university helped the students to get practical exposure. The faculties at Deshbandhu College were really supportive and was well qualified. They helped us not only in our subject knowledge but also personally. They always encouraged us to actively participate at various college events etc. The best faculties came across in my college days were Mrs. seema Gupta Ma'am and Nidhi Mathur ma'am.

They regularly update their website for vacancy available. Once applied, they call us for interview. Most of the time its telephonic interview. They might even ask you for some sample work. Once you get selected you are good to go.
Placement Experience
Not much companies visit the campus. But still there are opportunities for good students to get placed. The university also organizes central placement for DU students. Few companies visiting the campus are:1. Royal Bank of Scotland2. Urban Clap3. Ernst and YoungThe college placement cell is quite active. They also regularly conducts workshop for students personality development and to prepare them for Interviews.
College Events
The college offers a lot of opportunities for extra curriculum. There are more than 15 societies within the campus. The college encourages many sports like archery, chess, badminton, Karate, weightlifting, Basketball, yoga etc. The college annually organises 3 days Fest- Sabrang for the students all over the university. Also the college celebrates annual sports day which gives students a lot of opportunities. Every department organises its own fest apart from Sabrang which keeps the students spirit high.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers Shrimati Rikha Devi Memorial Scholarship every year for first year commerce students. The amount of the scholarship is Rs. 480. Also the meritorious students are awarded with scholarship based on their performance every year.
Campus Life
The college has good infrastructure. They have separate badminton court, Archery ground, Canteen, NCC ground, Gym, computer labs and library. Also there is a photostat shop within the campus which really helps students. The college also has bank facility within the campus. There are separate labs for each department with all required equipment. The campus has high speed wifi facility for all the students.
Hostel Facilities
There is no Hostel Facility on campus. Although the outstation students can easily find private PG and Hostels nearby. The college is surrounded with many PG both for boys and girls. The price of the PG are not expensive ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 per month.
