Remarks

VIPS is the best college among the IP University colleges, it has the best infrastructure, ambience and faculty.And it is also 3rd best college for BBA in IPU. My main aim was IPU and specifically VIPS, so I wqs prepared for this college.

Companies visited the college are reputed and renowned. Many big companies are there at Placement drive.The Placement department is too good, and hardworking.There are many startups by our batch mates like- younity, we settle, black tie.The Placement cell is really helpful and very good and supportive.

Recently there was a management fest on a huge scale, which was very successful and participating in the team was easy as the team is never completed, so more the people, more it was better.Overall the fest was a huge success and the team was very good, managed properly.

The life you should live in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is thorough and pertinent, in my opinion. I chose this course because it helps me understand real-world business situations by covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of commerce, such as accounting, economics, and business law. The subjects are helpful for both real-world employment and future studies like an MBA or CA. Although the course prepares us well, it could be enhanced by including more hands-on learning opportunities, internships, and professional guest lectures. To make lessons more interesting, teachers can employ more interactive techniques like group discussions and digital resources. Exams are scheduled appropriately, but occasionally the timetable feels constrained and leaves little time for review. The exam is at a moderate level and assesses more than just memorisation; it tests our comprehension of subjects.

My views on KMC . A final year student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course (B.Sc Hons. Mathematics ) is more focused towards descriptive and theoritical method since my course belong to pure mathematics along with that I have statistics in my generic elective (GE) which is more application based. Our course is structured more towards reseach part. Whereas the commerce and economics courses are more relevant to practical industry knowldege. The usual struture is divided into two part in each sem generally known as end and mid sem exam. Whereas there exist weekly and monthly examination which majorly depends upon the teaching style of the faculty.

Since I have already mentioned in previous section that I want the deepest knowledge of political science and the only way, one can gain that is by doing masters. Get set start with brief info about VIPS.

I applied for Delhi Universities and IP Universities. The first criteria to get into DU is based on merit but also you have the second option ie. by giving the the-Jat exam. Though the cut-off yet goes high for general category students. So I ended up getting into the topmost colleges of IP universities in my course. IP has an entrance exam for every student and the maximum % of admission depends on the Rank you get in the CET. For my course, it is mandatory to have Maths and English in your 12th. The l the rank results higher the chance you to get admitted. The process has 3 rounds after the results. Post getting the results you set your college preferences and according to your rank, you are allotted one. If you are satisfied with the college you can get yourself enrolled but if not you can wait for the second round which goes the same way. But even if you are yet not satisfied you can wait for the spot round ie. if someone leaves that spot. The entire admission process in IP is systematic....Read More
