Remarks

The good part about somaiya is that it has good infrastructure and it has a beautiful campus somaiya has almost every institute in them there are lots of sports activity and college festival throughout the year that we all can participate in and they have a good cafeteria. The bad part may be student-teacher ratio is a bit high and students might just enjoy the campus and not attend a lecture

I choose this course because I always want to be part of the film industry so bmm is part of it Student and faculty ratio is high but all teacher are well trained and are one of the best guides All faculty are well qualified and topper of the university and we do have visiting faculty who are well known in the industry they have simple and to the point teaching method after attending lectures it not so difficult to clear the exam

Placement Experience

From 2nd year we are eligible for placement there are many companies like ICIC cred kotak hdfc equity right etc almost 40 company have came My plan is to do a master's MAEMA in somaiya.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are not as much as other college and there are lots of scholarship for student allowance etc for a student who needs it

Campus Life

There are lots of fest and tech fest throughout the year There are almost every book and journal available in the library The classroom is big and spacious enough with a laptop projector mic for faculty There are almost every sport court in somaiya they have introduced a new course for sports and Good quality trainer There are many groups like mediatheque utkarsh maker Mela (aisa no 1 tech fest ) and may more

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course. It helped me in my personality building and also I learned new things like- Video and photo editing, handling cameras, communication skills, Acting, Advertisement writing and shooting, and many more. Class strength is good as they allow 25-30 students for one course. Faculties were too supportive and masters of their own fields. They take 2 internals and 1 final exam at the end of the semester which is of 6 months.

They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

KJ Somaiya College is a very huge college and has a perfect system of everything. Proud to be a student of this college. They have extra curricular activities cultural forum fests and much more. They also have outdoor Games, athlete ground, hostels, 7 to 8 canteens. The teaching system is quite good they have compulsory 75% of attendance.

I applied to KJ and Rizvi as well and got confirmation from Rizvi, but after comparing it with SK Somaiya in aspects such as sports and curriculam, SK Somaiya was the best fit for me. I did get rejected in KJ Somaiya because of my marks in 10th, KJ is known to have the highest cut-offs. The admission process is centralised and is done on the basis of merit and seat available. So basically I wanted to join somaiya Vidyavihar only it was a dream college for me and the process was like we have to apply or registered online on their portal then you all have to wait for the merit list if your name is there they then you will get a mail for the admission process where you will get an so my as mail id which is for educational purpose or any details or any information about the college or about the campus the svv net ID portal which will be provided in the mail from there you have to fill the form and you have to pay the fees online offline is not allowed like everything you have to pay online and after that when you will go to the college you have to collect your ID's before that you have to take appointment in that portal only in the ID Card section and then you will get an ID from the college campus...Read More
