MY COLLEGE REVIEW

According to me CMRIT is a good college with decent infrastructure , good faculties and ample opportunities . Faculties guide us not only through academics but also is a great support for implementation of projects , researches etc. We also have MAKERSPACE - a place with advanced tools and technologies which can we used by students to implement their ideas. Apart from that we also have various fests and sport activities conducted in our college. I joined CMRIT through KCET , even COMEDK scores are accepted here.

The faculties here are extremely good and friendly and is always ready to help you either with your academics , projects etc . Each student is assigned with a mentor whom we can approach in case of a problem. Most of the faculties have high qualifications , like MTech and PhD . The faculties try to make the classes more interactive and engaging through video presentations , flip classrooms etc. We have 3 IAT's conducted which is as per the VTU norm.

The students are given placement training from their 1st year. The training is given for aptitude , logical reasoning and verbal and also soft skills. We have mock group discussion and personal interview conducted by our trainers which builds our confidence for the actual interview. The student is eligible for placements only after clearing certain TYL exams , if not the students are given multiple chances to clear it. There are several companies visiting our campus for placements like Deloitte , SAP , Capgemini , EY , PwC etc. Recently one of the students received an offer with salary package of 22 LPA which is the highest till date.

Apart from the regular fees we also have TYL fees to be paid which is for the placement training . Apart from that we also have scholarships given to students .

The annual fest conducted at CMRIT is 'CULTURA' which is a 2 day fest with various competitions ( even technical) and performances. Apart from this we also have various technical fest , hackathons , sports fests which is conducted. We have the best library at CMRIT with vast collections of books . We also have numerous clubs like art club, theatre club, dance club and lately we also have foreign language club , and all these clubs organize various activities weekly which sees active participation from the students. Overall the college life is good.
