CMRIT is the only college in Bangalore to be accredited A+ grade by NAAC. The faculties are extremely supportive & along with VTU curriculum, we get a lot of exposure to latest technologies. The college also encourages the students to do Mini Projects & MOOC courses in every semester. The infrastructure is also very nice with innovative labs & Maker Space where the students can work on various projects. The placements is also very good with average package of 6.5 LPA and packages as high as 18LPA+ have also been offered. Overall The college is a good choice among other Private colleges. Computer Science is one the most desirable branch that the students prefer and since my rank was good so I could easily get this branch . The faculties are really helpful , polite and very supportive . The curriculum does justice to the VTU syllabus and is completed well before time. There are 3 internal exams conducted in a semester and then the final VTU exam which is not very easy to crack, But with the support of my faculties, I was able to score 9+ CGPA .

Internships are promoted in 3rd year through Entrepreneurial projects and is compulsorily done in 4th year . Many students get internships via campus placements . Companies like Daily hunt, Infosys , VMWARE and many more offer internships too.

Placements is good with average salary of 6.5LPA & salaries as high as 18LPA+ have also been offered in campus placements. The percentage of students getting placed varies from 60-90% depending on the student's development .But the college leaves no stone un-turned to get good companies each year.

The fee structure for COMEDK is quite high i.e. 2,14,000 . For KCET ,it's much less than 1LPA.

Life in campus is extremely wonderful. The campus has a lot of good vibes and keeps the hostelites attached to the campus. There are many technical and non- technical clubs like MINDSPARK , GEEKSFORGEEKS, ACE, MUSIC CLUB, WOMEN'S CLUB , and so on. which promotes several hackathons and other events too. NRI hostel is extremely good. The other hostel is also well -disciplined under the guidance of wardens .The meal is also fine.

Yes , I appeared in COMEDK exam and was able to secure a good rank to get CSE in this college. The criteria for admission for non-karnataka students is via COMEDK exam which has sections of Physics , Chemistry & Maths ,which is quite similar to Jee paper but the difficulty is lesser than that and KCET is the exam conducted for Karnataka students.
