Remarks
Most of the good professors have already left the college. Few faculty in the college are very good. ex. Jyoti Kulkarni for Power Electronics, she was superb. Other professors were namesake.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was properly structured with lot of assignments and submissions. However the lab experiments and industrial visits could have been more emphasized. Classroom sessions could have been slightly trimmed down. More technology specific engagements to be done.
Placement Experience
The placement is good if we keep IT companies in mind but not for the core branches like Electrical, Mechanical. Siemens and BBL had recruited in my times in the joint campus
College Events
Rhythms Cultural fest and Technocrats Technical fest conducted by the college once in a year. Sports activities were also encouraged during the cultural event. These events also had judges and celebrities for one or two events making it more attractive.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive then. compared to what other colleges had. Although not much of a placement and faculty was also not that great but still the fees were at a higher side. There was also a management quota which charged fees of almost 2. 4 to 3 lacsboevr and above fees for admitting students with less CET and PCM marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't opt for any educational loan and I paid the fees from the earnings of my father and my sisters.
Campus Life
Campus Life was great as I made some really good friends for life. we also had a good group discussions, debates during the cultural events. Diversity and inclusion was also taken care by the management as there was a good mix of both the gender in the total strength of the college.
Hostel Facilities
No I didn't opt for the hostel as I stayed in ghatkopar and I travelled in train to the college and it was better that way. however the college was at a walking distance from Kharghar railway station.
Alumni/Alumna
No alumni network I have experienced though after 12 years of passing out from the college. However the seniors were very helpful during viva assessment, sharing our knowledge during submissions, practicals etc. I had once got a mail from alumni network for ACPCE Alumni Meet "ReLive-2018".
Admission
I got admission through CAP process. For admission they also took into account the PCM marks and CET score. 50:50 ratio. The intake was 60 students. The students who got less marks in CET and PCM (12th Std) got themselves admitted through Management quota paying 2-3 lacs fees over and above fees for that year. The dates were as per AICTE rules.
Faculty
Faculty could improve as they lacked industrial experience and some were very nascent in teaching. Probably they must also be a little stricter for students who bunked college and defaulted in practicals and submissions. The faculty was able to conduct timely lectures
