A place you want to be because of its sprawling campus, wonderful campus life, great infrastructure - SIDTM is just the one.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and exam structure is very well processed and strategised. It is quite relevant and research driven. The curriculum is totally planned out in a way to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students. Several industry visits are also conducted during the curriculum.

Placement Experience

5

Our batch strength is 150, and there is a 100% internships and placement opportunities every year. The average package offered is 13 LPA, whereas the highest package was 20 LPA last year. Top recruiters are EY, Deloitte, Hughes Systique Corporation, Paytm and many more. Few of the top roles offered are risk advisory, internal audit, marketing analyst etc. Majorly, the big 4 consulting companies visited our college for placement drives along with companies belonging to the ICT domain. The course curriculum is designed as per the industry requirements which helps students to get placed easily.

College Events

5

SIDTM is abuzz with activities and events throughout the year. Apart from academics, importance is given on all round development of the students by encouraging them to get actively involved in various extra curricular activities.Every task is assigned to a specialized committee, which is handled professionally and is executed effectively with great zeal. The students of SIDTM (Formerly SITM) have time and again proved their worth by successfully organizing events of National level. Communiqu?18 touched upon contemporary concerns of the ICT business domain encompassing latest trends in the same. A few among them are IOT conundrum, convergence of telecom industry, encrypting the reason behind widening of data chasm and the rationale behind crowd veer towards gig economy. Communiqu?18, with its far-reaching theme, ?Establishing New Synergies: Together Towards Tomorrow? It was held on 7th and 8th of September, 2018. It explored whether the present ecosystem is resilient enough to sustain developments or the converging telecom tumultuous will topple the ICT domain. Imminent speakers from COAI, Oracle, Yes Bank, Accenture etc. graced the event and shared their rich experiences during panel discussions and keynote sessions. Aarambh, the annual cultural fest of SIU, is the event where students showcase their talent and skills. Aarambh 2018 came along with an eye-opening theme ? ?MYSFITS?. SIDTM (Formerly SITM) put up a spectacular performance entitled ?Are the MYSFITS actually misfits or is the society who looks at them as mysfits, the real mysfits??. The way the theme was interpreted was highly appreciated by the audience and left them with the message of not being afraid of not being 'accepted' for who they are and show their true self. TEDxSIULavale, an event which lets students to believe in their dreams and go beyond their status quo and contribute to the lives of people. Since its inception in 2012, SIDTM E-Cell continued this wonderful journey in 2018 with the theme #ideacracy and in 2019 with the theme Crayons: The Creative Quotient that showcased the diversity of colours of life. The event on 23 rd February witnessed powerful speeches by Padmashri Dr. Syed Kirmani (Indian Wicket Keeper), Dr. Latika Nath (First female Biologist), Sober Emanuel (Musician Storyteller) and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite affordable comparing to the exposure that we get in 2 years of MBA from SIDTM. The college provides transparency in fee breakdown and the modes of payment are hassle free. The infrastructure of the campus is beautiful and being associated with this college makes me feel immense proud of the fact that I am part of the brand of Symbiosis and the Symbi family.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had opted for an education loan and almost all banks provide with affordable rates of interest. I had availed the scholar loan as SIDTM is listed under the number of excellent institutes of our country.

Campus Life

The college also has got various facilities like library, swimming pool, gym, sports courts like squash, snooker, badminton, volleyball, basketball, table-tennis and others. The students have got various committees to work in for different types of exposures. Many events also take place like Aarambh, Fun, and food carnival, international Telecom Seminar, TEDX etc.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I have opted for hostel as this is a full residential program. Students can avail for either double sharing or triple sharing. There are sufficient hostel seats for all the students. The campus is on a hilltop and so during the rains, it is at its scenic best. There is a recreation center which is having a gym, squash court, badminton court, pool, swimming pool, basketball court, and a football field. Wi-Fi is provided in the campus and LAN in the hostel. The rooms are well maintained and if there is any issue regarding the infrastructure it is quickly addressed. Classrooms are well-equipped with the projector and speakers.

Alumni/Alumna

SIDTM has a very strong alumni network with eminent leaders in our industry. The alumni visits campus and provide us with beautiful knowledge insights about the industry in guest lectures.

Admission

I had appeared for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), which was scheduled on 16th December 2019. After the SNAP test result is declared in the month of January, I was short listed and called for GE-PIWAT (Group Exercise, Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test), which was held in the beautiful Lavale Campus. The GEPIWAT process was very smooth and interactive.

Faculty

5

Faculty members in our college are highly qualified. Most of them are doctorate. They have decades of academic and industry experience. The teaching method includes lectures, video lectures, case study discussions, etc. The course curriculum is kept in tandem with the requirements of the industry. The faculty are well versed in the courses they teach. There are case studies which are used in the methods to teach. Industry exposure in terms of visit was provided and this was in line with the course that was being taught.

There visited so many companies like Reliance ke locks and many which provides many placement drives and takes number of students and and that they take post aptitude test and like from 15 students the 10 are selected in the aptitude test and then there is an interview round in which out of 10 only two or three are selected as the Reliance come when the Reliance company came to the college for the placement right did took aptitude test for the chemical branch and as well as for the mechanical branch and that will talk almost 80 students for the aptitude test and which from the chemical branch only 40 students appearing for the aptitude test in the Reliance company in which only 15 students where selected for the second round that is for the interview round and that only 10 students where selected for the final with 10 students where finally selected to get the placement in the Reliance company is the one of the most renowned company for the placement. Likewise there in the college many companies visited for the chemical as well as for the many other branches that is from like we got many startup companies like Lakshmi Organics Laxmi Chemicals and many startup companies with gives placements to the freshers which get passed from their chemical the engineering degrees who have completed without any backlogs and have cleared all the semesters., the students get placement after all the basis of their project the interviews are held and they ask in that the project related questions the curriculum related questions and some behavioural questions. Are chemical branch are bad way in that almost there were 150 students in all that only 58 students where selected in the placement drives held at the placement but all the other should have to try outside the college for the placement som of them have to go abroad.
