Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management was established in 2005 with the affiliation of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and is approved by AICTE. The college infrastructure in recent times has improved under the leadership of new campus administrator. Management as such is quite slow in taking decisions as the Pune has to approve all the ideas or recommendations. Female dominant faculty and hence we see many times cold war between them.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum was carefully curated and approved by MHRD. We learned numerous topics like Accounting for managers, financial reporting, Micro finance, in addition to the other management related subjects like Human Resource, Marketing Management, etc. So the entire curriculum was pretty great.
Admission:
There are no negatives about the college. I really enjoyed my stay here. The faculty and the hostel were very accommodating. The college has a pretty decent infrastructure and dedicated management. The sports ground is huge, the library is vast, computer labs and classrooms are digital.

The college is very good. The campus is not a big one. It is a small campus but based on the batch strength it will suffice. Now overall college ranking is expected to increase because it is basically based on placement and the season started very well.

Yes, a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized University holder is eligible for admission. Admission is granted on the basis of SNAP scores, accompanied by Group Exercise and Personal Interview (GE-PI)
Admission to MBA programs is done through the score obtained in Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) followed by GE and PI. Candidate should be an engineering graduate (BE/ B Tech of any stream) from a statutory University with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in their qualifying examination.
