Life is really enjoyable on campus. It's a small campus but nicely optimised with all the needs. There is an annual fest and management fest. There are good and valuable books available in the library. There are high-tech amenities
The campus is bit small but is well equipped with everything you will require in your college life.To name a few,we have Gym,WiFi,sports club, music club, Well planned library, access to multiple online books and magazines and many other facilities.
In SIOM we have students for every part of India. Which has created a diverse community here. Here we enjoy many extracurricular activities like treasure hunt sports like basketball, cricket. Even college organises many guest lectures of big big industrialists who come and deliver lectures here and motivates us. Many Competitions of cultural and sports are organized here.
The campus is compact one, around 1.75 acres. The recent campus admin has really optimized the campus being a operations college. A well build Badminton facility, Table Tennis, Pool table, Basketball Court is available. You have a open area to play cricket as well. There is a common study room and campus cafe(Symbieat) open till 11 usually and late during exams. There is one inhouse Xerox and stationary center. Talking about crowd, all are Engineers and hence usually single. Male to female ratio usualy varies sometimes from 50-50 to 90-10. Being a compact campus there is lot of interactions and we get a family at the end. Talking Nashik, then I can write a book on how beautiful and serene Nashik is. The weather is all the time cool. There is lot of beautiful nature of see and explore around, good treks, great temples and party places as well. All options are available on "College Road" in the heart of the city. I totally love Nashik and if given opportunity would settle there.
Our institute organises numerous workshops and seminars on various current issues. For instance, we attended GST training program in the campus. There are some additional certification courses related to financial management. Though they are paid course. Apart from that there are guest lectures and many other non-academic activities.
Industry visits were a frequent occurrence for our program. We got an ample amount of corporate exposure because of these industry visits and guest lectures from esteemed guest faculties from different sectors. Our college pushes students to take part in sports activities, not to be too absorbed in the studies.

There are many facilities like gym, pool table, Table tennis, badminton court, basketball court. You can very well connect and explore your inner talent.
The gender ratio is 1:6 and the diversity are huge both in terms of people coming from different places and also with a lot of different experience ranging from sales, maintenance, procurement, manufacturing services, IT services, finance and much more. This makes class discussions very healthy as you get to learn the other aspect. There are various clubs in the college who work independently under their faculty guide for a particular domain. E.g. Reseach club takes care of research related activities, paper presentations, and conferences. Sports committee organizes sports fest twice a year and once a year sends students to participate in the university sports fest. Students also travel to various B-schools which host competitions such as B plans, case studies, debates, etc.
There is no gender disparity in the college. All are given equal opportunity. Best part is the ownership that is given to students on different committees. They have to own any event, from the point of planning the event to get sponsorship, to decide on the themes, deciding and inviting guests and organising the event and to preparing thank you notes and sending.
