My NIFM Review

Curriculum was carefully curated and approved by MHRD. We learned numerous topics like Accounting for managers, financial reporting, Micro finance, in addition to the other management related subjects like Human Resource, Marketing Management, etc. So the entire curriculum was pretty great.

My total course fee was somewhere around INR 475,000, which was pretty feasible. This fee included tuition fee, examination fee, registration fee, caution fee, etc. Overall, our college is pretty great in terms of day-to-day expenses and other expenses.

Our institute organises numerous workshops and seminars on various current issues. For instance, we attended GST training program in the campus. There are some additional certification courses related to financial management. Though they are paid course. Apart from that there are guest lectures and many other non-academic activities.

Accommodation services are provided by the college one single sharing and double sharing basis. Hostel rooms are spacious and has a capacity of accommodating 175 students. Mess food is outsourced and tastes great.

My admission was done on the basis of my SNAP exam scores. Our institute accepts scores of other entrance exams, approved by AICTE. The shortlisted students are invited for further round of counselling like GD and PI. Entire admission process was pretty smooth. Since I am from the finance background, I was aiming for this institute.

All of our faculty members had a plethora of experience in the corporate sector. The faculty was pretty supportive and helped us with our queries as well as career counselings. Even though our curriculum was mostly finance-oriented, we learned about other management-related subjects as well.
