HOD was super dynamic. Our vice chancellor was Dr Mukherjee and taught us economic.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses curriculum was nicely designed and announced at starting of semester. Exam structure was good announced 2 months before. Research was fair and guided by industry's expert. I have my research in cable TV system and Hard labour. I rendered heither and theither to collect data. Makes me disciplined and perfect professional in practical life.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

Wipro,Microsoft,Axis Bank,Tata consultancy.Basically it was on marks basis but at last they allow to every student.

College Events

In college We were several branch And stream. Around eight to ten.We celebrate annual function together the size of gathering was around 1000 people. We enjoy alot with dance music and hungama. All the preparation was done by students Only. In few cases and programs we hire professional

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure as compared to other colleges was high. It was very difficult for me to afford because I was from middle class family. My father was expired. Fee was Semester wise. No they don't charge any extra amount in any means. Yes transparency in fee-breakdown.

No I have not opted For any scholarships or education loan.

Campus Life

The ratio was seventy thirty. There was sexual partiality lecturer favour female students they give notes to them. Their scoring was favoured. No religious feelings was there. All most all castes and creeds was there. All extra curriculum was satisfactory.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they were helpful. They always guide us any matter. Ragging was there. But altimately they become friends.

Admission

Appeared in written test I passed the test. Then I received call letter of personal interview. Around 200 students selected and last one was group discussion.In group discussion we have to discuss on some current topics of country. 5 panelists were sitting with us.

Faculty

8 lecturers, age around 28-55.Yes one of them from banking sector. He resigned from bank and started carrier as lecturer. The briefing capacity was so good. Another one from rocketry science.He was around 6ft in height and determination was good. Third one fron wire rope industry.

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

students get placemetns from the 5th semester and are also give training for a month. more company enter my college like tata ,mahindra, honda and etc. if you have good marks in you six semester and you answer the questions correctly , the company may offer you a high package,and you can also demand you package. for mechanical engineers 100%,electrical engineers 75%and other branch68%. i will work in the company after getting the degree

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More

GPAT score is what taken into account and in 12th 60% or more is mandatory. Also JEE scores are considered but again baby IITs level of score is required and therefore students mostly come through GPAT here....Read More

Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
