Remarks

Very good College with excellent faculty and other facilities

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and exam structure were solely decided by the university during those days. But these days colleges can decide their curriculum so it is much relevant, fair and industry specific. The on-campus placements were not available during those days, but is available now.

Placement Experience

3

The system of campus placements were not available during those days. But nowadays industrial giants like Microsoft, Intel, Infosys and other similar companies every year visit the campus for their requirement.

College Events

3

Lot of Cultural, Management and Technical festivals were held in each year. First these will be held in college level and then in the University level and some of the festivals were conducted in the state level. Students normally participate in large numbers for the college level festivals, but only those secured top positions will be allowed to participate in the higher levels.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Normally any graduation from the College charges only the prescribed University fee which is around Rs. 2000/- per year. Hence it is feasible. This is the case of students getting admission on merit quota. Other Admission quota like Community Quota ans Management Quota the fee structure will be very high.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. The system of education loan was not available during those days. Scholarships were available to a very few students.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities were part of college life. Debates and arts festivals were frequently organized. Sports and games activities also were given high priority normally after college hours. Annual sports and games competition attracted a very large number of students.

Hostel Facilities

No. As I was staying very near to the college I did not opt for hostel. The hostel rooms were adjacent to college and they were available on twin sharing basis. The hostel fee during those days were very less. They used to charge Rs. 500/- per room without food. Food was available in the hostel canteen for which you have to pay.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is in the developing stage and hopefully useful in the future. But the participation from the previous students are minimal hence in a developing stage.

Admission

The college was very near to my home. Proximity from my home was the primary concern. The college is situated in a very good location and this convenient atmosphere was the next plus point in choosing this college. The faculty was excellent and other facilities like very good library and very large outdoor as well as indoor playground added to the above plus points.

Faculty

4.5

Most of the lectures were freshers those days, without any industrial exposure / experience or industry related certifications. I do hope the situations have changed and the faculty these days are much better with industry related certifications or exposure.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.
