Remarks

The College is a well reputed college in Pune City. My priority was to study in Pune so this is the best choice one can have after COEP Pune. The placement records of the college is very vibrant. I was not able to clear marks required to join COEP so this was my obvious choice then.

Course Curriculum Overview

Being known as one of the best college at least in Maharashtra, this was expected. Moreover, after two extremely hard gone years and a lot of hard work to get the admission, this was the least I could have expected. However I was bit dissatisfied.

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 23500 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are really good. There is not a single day when the Training and Placement office is empty. Once the placement season starts in July, companies offering really good packages. If you are good at what you like and what the companies demand, you are sure to get a good job. But college has single job policy i.e if you get job you cannot sit for other companies.

College Events

Since campus is small not a lot takes place except some events here and there. But since the college is located in Pune City so you can expect a social life. As of extra curricular activities are concerned some social events do take place but mostly they are technical

Campus Life

College size is really small about 5acres with nearly no sports activity. But there are a few world class laboratories where quality work is done. Most of these labs are industry backed and are supported well by the institute.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

The college is best for placement and club activity

Placement Experience:

In my branch, the placement is good In 2025, 150 students are placed in Wipro, infosys, Amazon and Google like companies the minimum package is seven lakh. Also in my branch one Student it is placed in Amazon with 47 lakh rupees package in college. They already prepare Student for interviews and aptitude test. The placement cell is conduct aptitude test with the Google for students for each semester in that they test our coding skills, English skills and attitude test from that they give us a detail information in which skills are lacking and on which skill we want to work

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

My college

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
