I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
