Remarks

It is a central government institute, hence all facilities are really good. And above all, you get the brand name "AIIMS" which is really good. The college is really reputed and even though it was established in 2012, it is well developed and is growing exponentially. All the students have got exceptional results in the entrance exams and hence you can find the best of minds here, resulting in a positive and competitive atmosphere.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very well planned and somewhat hectic. The faculties and the administration are strict about academics. There is proper planning and schedule about classes and regular assessment tests. The faculties are good and from reputed educational background. The practical classes, labs and instruments are all updated. There is sufficient patient exposure too.

Placement Experience

4.5

Everyone after the completion of MBBS needs to do a compulsory internship at the hospital. After which, many take up jobs, or MD/MS course in other institutes. Overall, the opportunities are really good and depends on your abilities

College Events

4.5

Campus life is good. There are various clubs and committes like literary, cultural, quiz, sports, academics, dance, music, fine arts, web and IT, photography etc etc. There are annual socio-cultural fest like Chiasma, annual sports day, and other medical conferences and wokshops. All festivals like Diwali, Holi, Onam, Halloween, etc are celebrated well. The college takes part in various intercollege fests too.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is really good, considering the institute is just 8 years old. More buildings like burn and trauma unit, administration and resarch building, etc are being constructed and would be over soon. Overall, it is good and sufficient for MBBS. There are sports facilities like two fields, one volleyball court, two badminton courts, one lawn tennis court, other indoor sports, etc. Either a swimming pool/indoor stadium would be constructed soon.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel infrstructure is good, but could have been better. The first year students are kept separated to ensure no ragging takes place. The girls are kept in flats, where 3 girls share two rooms, one kitchen, and one washroom/bathroom. In boys hostel, 2 boys share one room along with common washroom. 2nd year onwards, everyone gets a single room which is a major perk, but needs to share a common washroom. It is compuslory for everyone to stay in hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* I had chosen to do mechanical engineering because I had some bond with machines and it's designing and was also aware with the scopes of mechanical engineering. * In real world the curriculum helped me a lot and still it is helpful, currently I'm preparing for position of junior engineer and there it is quite helpful for me. * I don't think any improvement is required in the course curriculum and teaching methods as everything was good at its place and it's also the responsibility of us (students) to know our curriculum thoroughly and give our best. * Exams were conducted at an interval of 6 months and as said earlier exams conducted were moderate level not too difficult or easy and with studies it can be cleared easily

Course Curriculum Overview:

We didn't know that we were the second batch of BCA in our college till we took admission. However following only the college curriculum is not sufficient to prepare yourself for industrial world as the duration of even semesters are only 4 month. This is what that should looked out for and after the odd semester exams we a gap of one month.
