Remarks

I was heard that the placements are good as the recruiting companies here are Capgemini, TCS, Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, Persistent, Bentley Systems. Also the campus is very nice. It is Autonomous college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science and engineering is one of the best branches in KIT.HOD and staff of the department are very supportive and co-operative. At any difficulty, the staff is always there for us. Staff always give there best to us. All staff stuck with practical oriented knowledge and this is one of the great things for us to develop our skills.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 43524 per year

Placement Experience

80% of students placed in campus placement. The average highest package is of 8LPA. Maximum students are placed Many of students choose to go for higher studies

KIT's campus life is awesome. It's not about describing, it's about looking and feeling. Every student gets the book as per requirement. Unlimited books are available in the library. PIONEER is one of the great event held in KIT

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources

An underrated college in kolhapur

I chose this college because the fees is very affordable and the return on investment is good. Placements are also fine and they are improving every year. I had 93 percentile in mhtcet and I had plenty of other options like dy Patil akurdi pune, sinhagad college pune etc. The admission process is by mhtcet and jee.
