Ankit Kumar's Review On Motilal Nehru College (Evening), New Delhi

Admission in DU for merit based courses is done as per cut-off. So I choosed MLNCE because this was one of the best college in which I was able to take admission at that time in that particular cut-off. This college is situated in South Campus of DU, so that is plus point in this college. It is one of the best college of Evening timing. As I had completed my 12th from Commerce so my main aim was to get admission in B.Com only.

In my college you'll see that Commerce is the best department. Faculty members are very good. Few are there who faces difficulties in teaching. We aren't provided any industrial exposure yet. This year only my college got the placement cell, there wasn't any placement cell earlier. Some faculties are too good namely Mrs. Maya Rani mam, Mr. Rajnish Kler Sir, Ms. Bhawna Rajput mam and few more are there.

Yes I had opted for internship in Collegedunia as Campus Ambassador. After completion of internship I'll be getting certificate of internship, LOR (based on performance), Many more benefits too.I had applied for this internship from Letsintern after filling my details and resume.

This year only placement cell has been formed. So till we didn't had any company visit. But it seems that placement cell is quite active as they are organising many webinars on regular basis. So I hope that we'll see some company visiting for placement soon.

College societies are very active in organising different fests. Every year blood donation camp is organised. One of the most famous fest of my college is "Entelechy" Which is organised by commerce society "Monoliths". Many students of different colleges usually take participate in all events. Every year during February we have our annual fest. This year in annual fest we were lucky to have Maninder Bhuttar and Inder Chahal. Many Seminars as well were organised related to different social, environmental issues. Every year Fresher's party for first year students and Farewell party for last year students has organised. Till now overall I had enjoyed my college life in Motilal. It's a very well known and famous college of Delhi University. I actually feel proud to be a part of Motilal Nehru College.

Sports facilities are quite good. Large playground, Basketball court and Volleyball court. We have very good Football team of my college and it is very famous in whole DU. Wi-Fi connectivity is not quite good. Large library with lot of books of different courses and topics. Well equipped computer labs and other science related labs too. Canteen is not too good.
