Remarks

College Management Staff is not very good and supportive. But teaching staff is very classy. Overall I would say it is a good college and one of the best college for sincere students as college faculties cover each and every part of syllabus.

Entrance Preview

MH-CET was entrance exam I gave for getting an admission in Thakur college. I opted for this particular college because decent teaching staff, very good placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

TCET (Thakur college of Engineering) is associated with Mumbai University. Course Curriculum is good and college faculty is very good.

Internships Opportunities

This is no concept of Internship as it is an Engg college.

Placement Experience

Placements are excellent as most of the Top IT Companies comes for on-campus placements.

Basically there are types of events/festival in a year. Sports Festival and Tech Festival. Tech Festival is very big as most of the Mumbai Engg college comes for participation. 1200+ visitors comes during Tech Festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College Tuition Fees are bit on higher end. Not sure about current fees but last time when I heard it was 90+ k per year.

Campus Life

College Campus life is very good. Labs are fully equipped. Robotics, Debates all happens during Tech Fest. College has very big play ground for sports.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is very good and students are very comfortable in staying in Hostel as it very nearby college. Hostel's locality is very good. There is no Mess for Hostel but college's canteen is awesome.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

As TCET is associated with MU, the exam structure is Semester Based pattern. There are two internal unit tests per semester which is bit hectic. But as per MU guidelines college is bond to do that.

Not a dream college but a best college that is unexpected

Placement Experience:

There are total 8 semister for college placement from 8 semester students become eligible for campus placements The company that visit my college are TCS , ZEPTO etc The average package of my college is 5 lacs and the highest package is upto 13 lacs in future it has more chances to grow up The placement are dependent of the companies that visit with their criteria. My plan is to improve my skills and to place in a good company with a good package.

Placement on campus are less but yes students get placed every year you just have mentain a good cgpa and have some skill to get placed on campus while college also help to get placed off campus. the avg package is like 800000 while the highest is 1500000

Superb campus life

Course Curriculum Overview:

So my first priority was artificial integellence and data science ..but I didn't get it..I also have an interest in electronics and I finally get it. their 1:60 ratio of faculty to student and qualification of faulty is mostly ME /MTech and some are PhD holders.

i got in this college through mht cet and i wanted to go into tcet as it was near to my house and one of the main reason is placement.
