Remarks

Good faculty and serene environment. This also came with a wonderfull senior junior relationship that helped me a lot in settling down at a place far from my home. The labs and the classroom are very well maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was some what ambivert in nature. We were definately provided a good amount of industrial exposure due to various trips we had in the first year itself. I'll personally like to thank Mr. Balbir sir, and Mr. Amit sinha sir for their extended support.

Placement Experience

3

The companies that visit our campus are not very big in magnitude, most of them being mass recruiters. The no. However increased the last year however again after the ongoing pandemic caused due to the covid, I'm sure it's gonna surge once again.

College Events

3

The campus life here is charming, not as great as that of many other high profile colleges and neither as bad as some other low grade colleges. We do have technical and cultural and management festivals on regular intervals in our college. They are of medium level not very big mor very small.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship facilities are provided to the students here on the basis of their merit. It's of two types, the first one is on the basis of our JEE rank while the other is on the basis of the individual's performance in the semester. If you're in the top 10 percentile and gave an SGPA of 8.5 or above you'll get it.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels provided till now to me have been on a sharing basis. I have to share it with one room mate of mine. The hostels provided in the first year, namely, Basohli was good however as we got promoted the quality of the hostels degraded.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Chose MBBS by my choice The more the practical and clinicals u perform the better u understand things rather than books . Real life experience is important I think what should be improved is that focus should be more on things that are more important for being a doctor. More towards clinical aspects more towards practical performance and less on things needed to cram Timing for exam of 80 mark is 3 hrs and is quite good enough time. 20 marks are of mcqs so total 100 mark.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.
