CET is the best Government funded College in Odisha. All the students getting admitted to this college have performed very well in the entrance exams. The admission and the branch selection here is little bit tough. You have to perform very well in your entrance exams to get admission in your favorite branch. The faculties here are very friendly and understanding. The tuition fees is too low as compared. The Clubs are the favorite culture here. Finally, a lot of companies come here during the placements season.CET is far ahead in terms of placements compared to its competitors. If we take the Academic Excellence, Personality Development, Industry Interface, Placement, and Selection Process, the college has always proved to be the finest.

If we take the Academic Excellence, Personality Development, Industry Interface, Faculties, Placement, and Selection Process, then CET has always proved to be the finest. First of all, my course of study was B. Tech in Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering which turned out to be very well as we had amazing faculties. They regularly helped us throughout our curriculum starting from Quizzes to the End semesters.We were blessed with a trip to NALCO power plant in Angul during our 6th semester. Our industrial experience was quite the same as other colleges as i can say. The only faculty that I am gonna miss is Dr. Kanhu Charan Bhuyan Sir. He is an ideal for me. I had learnt many lifetime lessons from him. I cannot forget the things he spoke during our classes that had an immensely deep impact on my daily life.

Yes, I had opted for 3 companies. They are NTPC, East Coast Railway and IOCL.These were free internships and I didn't gave any sort of exams for these internships. The NTPC experience was quite new for me as I was new to that Powerplant cum residential area. I had a beautiful experience there.The next one was the Railway internship. For this internship I had to travel from one city to another. The 3rd one was the IOCL where I had to go every day to the IOCL office in Bhubaneshwar and study their process, their work, culture and the food is awesome.

The Life of a hostelite is amazing. You will have a lifetime experience of what not to do in your life.There are technical fests, cultural fests, sports week, Farewell parties, Freshers parties everything was held every years at different times. The Technical fest was PERCEPTION. The Cultural Fest was XTASY. The Farewell and the Freshers were organized by respective branches for their seniors amd juniors. The fests are a grand event which attracted a huge audience from nearby colleges. The 3 days multiple event fest was packed with huge number of unknown faces in the campus. Big Shots were invited to perform on the stage. The DJ was the best thing to give a perfect end to these fests.

There is a total of 4 hostels at College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar.There are 2 girls hostels and 2 boys hostels. The hostel fee is Rs 15,700 including the Mess fee.The Canteen offers good food and the service is nice.The Quality of Classrooms and Labs are pretty good.The most satisfying thing at the institute is the college WiFi where the LAN Connection gives you a speed of 100 Mbps and for WiFi, it varies usually between 10-20 Mbps.There is a tennis court and table tennis room.There is a basketball court and a huge Football cum cricket field in our college. There is also a volleyball ground. There are multiple gyms in our college.There are 2 huge libraries and almost with all the required books of the curriculum are present there.

The hostel was quite comfortable. Even if u aren't a hostelite still you can spend your night in a hostel.The rooms were shared between students. Some were shared between 2 while some were with 3 students. The daily food bitching was compulsory event but the non-veg is delicious and yummy. The Hostel dwellers have had to pay and extra 16000 bucks for the hostel room as well as for the food.
