Remarks

I chose this university because of its good placement recording in the northeast, for its marvellous infrastructure and good inspirational faculties. Also, the fee structure is quite affordable for those who wants to pursue their career in this field.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and syllabus are very well defined. The entire disciplines to be taught are arranged in 6 semesters and examinations are conducted at the end of each semester. Unit test and practical tests are also conducted. Also, I found the faculty to be good. They carry that approach of teaching things in a simple manner and what I like is that there there is a practicality in their teaching which is very essential in technical courses

Recruitment drives a part and parcel of life at the engineering campuses. At KU also you will find companies coming in for recruitment during the 5th and 6th semester of the course. Recruitment Tests are conducted and those qualifying get the desired job and package. Internship and training is provided from the side of University.

College Events

Extra-curricular activities are available with a good number of options and I personally enjoy playing Hockey on campus. Celebration of events, organisation of fests and other functions is very common at LPU. On campus facilities are decent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant and is different for different branches according to their needs. I was interested in civil engineering and chose the course and find the curriculum intersting and relevant for me . The curriculum offers subject which are important for real world applications, like in civil engineering it's offers subjects like building construction, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, material testing, serving, etc. The course curriculum is very good but the teaching methods needs improvement like more digitalization . The exams frequency and timings are neither too late nor too early, they are perfectly planned and executed.

Digboi college and my experience through it .

Course Curriculum Overview:

There exists a good teaching staff that's why the course is very easy to understand also teachers give us good examples also do practicals so that's students understand the course easily . I see that there exist a low no of equipments in practical lab compare to it's students ratio so if they have a good no of equipments then all students get equipment to do experiment without any waste of time . Time is good as compare to marks and the first 30 marks are beginner level the other 40 marks are intermediate level and the remaining 30 Marks are advanced level questions in a question paper for the students they published.
