Harshit Nanda's Review On Kalinga Institute Of Industrial Technology - [KIIT], Bhubaneswar

The branch which I sought was available and the college ranks below 30 in NIRF so I chose this college which happens to be in my home city as well. Clubs and extra activities are given full support and I had known a few seniors who had graduated from KIIT.

The curriculum is at par with national universities. Some faculties were very good while some not that good. All in all, in student, has to do everything himself as marks and CGPA are not awarded fairly. Intra school subjects are given low marks across the university.

Placement opportunities are good and University does special placement coaching in the final year where special attention is given to everyone's needs in aptitude, English, and reasoning. Batches are done for Interview and coding as well.

Extracurricular activities are always given priority in KIIT. You can join any of the various clubs in KIIT. There are many national and international level events hosted by the university and I personally got to see many Nobel laureates.

Infrastructure is very good and state of the art campus. There are several campuses and hostels and libraries are also well maintained. A new library was launched recently which is very iconic and spans over 3 floors.

Hostel accommodation is available for everyone and mess food is also good. The 1st-year hostel even has a huge basement library and hostel accommodation is very easy to avail of and there was no one who found any difficulty in applying for hostel
