Remarks

Because it's was near to my home and I know lot about this college from my childhood. College teacher are very good they always try to help and solve if there you face any problem and I chose BCA because I was very much interested in computers but was not that great in physics so couldn't take btech in computer science.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes our course syllabus was updated. Yes we were provided enough industrial exposure.Our faculties were great, used to help us a lot in solving problems and properly makes us understand everything. Sudip Chakraborty was my favourite facultie.

Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Placement Experience

Yes you get placement opportunities but there are very few company that come to take you for the job such as Capgemini, topper, etc. From my batch total number of students that got hired was 20 which is a good amount as the strength of out batch was 50.

College Events

4.5

No I didn't any events there. But yes lots of activities keep on happening in the college. There are different activitie room and a seminar room as will for quiz competition. We also gets point for celebrating teachers day freshers and fairwell.

Campus Life

The infrastructure was actually very pretty yes there are facilities of sports, wifi.Size of our library is kind a huge it's properly 2 flore building. And yes equipment are available in labs. Specially computer labs are very beautiful.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
