Entrance Preview
It was centralized admission, conducted by the Panjab university for the b.com students. The admission was based totally on merit and then counselling was done and i got the admission.
Internships Opportunities
Well, their was no internship for b.com students in our college. Companies came for just placements only. Internship provides good opportunities but their was no internship.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are their but the salary package which is offered to b.com students is not good. IBM company came for hiring in BPO's and the salary package was just rs.120000 p.a. Other companies also came in job fest like domino's, vodafone etc. But i did not go their because of the low salary package.
College Events
Many events were used to be celebrated in the college like culture fest etc. It is done at a very big level even the outside college students came and participated in the fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it was government college so the fee structure was desirable. The fees was to be paid in 2 installments. 1st installment was around rs.8200, and 2nd installment was around rs.4200.
Fees and Financial Aid
No good scholarship was provided to the toppers and no loan facility was their. Only some exception was given to the reserved categorizes.
Campus Life
Campus life is ok but no good enjoyment i had their. Many workshops used to be their on every topic like gender-equity, students were their from various places and states. Some students were foreigners also.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network was not good and senior students were good no ragging g was their. If any difficulty was their regarding notes then our seniors used to provide us with notes.
Exam Structure
Exams was conducted easily. No hectic day it was seating plan was arranged properly and done as per the rules. But some teachers whose duty was their in the examinations don't follow the rules and that lead to hectic.
Faculty
Faculty of the college is very good. Their skills of teaching is like experts. Few teachers are their in every college whose teaching is not good. But overall good staff and faculty.
