Course Curriculum Overview
The aim of the course is to develop the speaking ability of the students so that they use correct pronunciation and use of languages. The topics taught are word recognition, writing skills, phonetics, grammar, oral expression of language etc. The course duration is three months and you will be given a certificate after the due course completion.
Placement Experience
The recruiting areas are marketing sector, Training institutes, Business firms, Lecturers/Teachers in university, Translation jobs, Business process outsourcing, documentation etc. The minimum salary ranges from 3 to 4 lpa and it can go to maximum of 10 lpa. The job positions offered to students are front desk officer, relationship manager, language trainer, translator, content developer etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fees is 10,000 for three months. Admission & registration charges are to be paid separately. The amount is very feasible and affordable seeing the opportunities and teachers that the college has provided us with.
Campus Life
Food distribution program and cloth donation are done every year on Gandhi Jayanti to the street beggars of Dibrugarh town. NSS wing also conducts social awareness programs related to HIV/AIDS among the youth of today's generation. cleanliness drive also happens in even semesters. The purpose of such camps is to inculcate a sense of social/cultural/moral/ethical beliefs.
Hostel Facilities
The girls hostel is basically located at Khalihamari in Dibrugarh which is at a short distance of 1 km from the college. The capacity is limited in the hostels. Seat allotment to the hostel rooms are given on the basis of merit list as prepared by the college. Other facilities include attached bathrooms, a common room for recreational/relaxation activities, equipped language room, a well stocked library, clean & hygienic canteen and dinner facility for the staff and college students.
Admission
The students should have secured 50% marks in class 12th from a recognized university with English as one of the major subject. The reserved category students should be present with their certificates in order to avail the benefits at the time of admission. Mind that you should not have a backlog in any subject. A merit list will be prepared by the college administration and you will be invited for the admission process on the basis of your marks.
Faculty
The teachers have fair knowledge about how to communicate with the students and train them in such a manner that they talk with others in a confident way. The students are given knowledge about the basic practical usage of English words in terns of speaking so as to turn a novice into a professional speaker/user of the language.
