Dhsk commerce college from the perspective of a student

from a small age i was intrested in this college and wanted to study commerce .So in assam DHSK Commerce College is a very popular name thats why i wanted to study there.for real world experience they dont teach anything about that.and for improvement they should add more practical classes and teach us from books more than a projector .If it will be a normal exam then the timing is 1 hour naximum n if it is final it will be 3 hours

in a year there will be two semester, so for the odd semester like 1,3,5 we give admission fees and the fee structure is different for income certifacate under 1 lakhs or bpl card holders .In 1 st sem i paid approx 7 thousand and in 3 rd sem i paid around 8 thousand and in 5 th sem also same . Bpl card holders get their admission under 1000. In graduation we can apply different type of scholarspis as it is north east region many schemes come every year

as it is located in assam the main festival is bihu even though it is not celebrated in college they still decorate it to a extent. and annualy there will be many extra curricular activities and annual sport dance song freshers for new students farewell for the passing out students

I applied to digboi college also and i got seat there also but i wanted to come here thats why i came to study here.I didn't get any rejection from other college.for admission first we have to apply online form fillups then according to percentage the merit list will come and there will be 10 to 15 open admission for first come first take

The students n teacher relationship is good whatever we had doubt we can ask them directly according to the department wise teachers .the ratio of the faculties and students will be approx 10:100 As it is commerce college it has many students many section many honours .While i was in college i used to like the accounting faculty members ,they were good supportive and were always willing to help the department head Sailen Gogoi is a good person who is now promoted to vice principal . One of the faculty i dont like was a temporary teacher he had much ego in him while we ask something he will reply rudely to the boys but to girls he will reply them politely way. Before a semester year which is of 6 month we give two test and one final sem exam so in a year it will be 6 exams and sometimes the paper is hard sometimes easy so therefore some students fail in the final

i didnt not participate in any college group discussion as i was not an open person .i just enjoy watching others and having fun with my friends.In group discussion among friends we used to talk about different things like politics crimes and all

the nightlife around college campus is quiet .the main town is not near the college campus and no pan shops are there within 50 metres so basically i can say no nightlife in college campus.But in day there will be too crowd as beside our college there is other colleges in a row
