Remarks

It is an autonomous college which is working tirelessly to achieve the goal of promoting public health. It has provided enormous opportunities to the students. Overall it is a great college and highly reputed too.

The college has a good placement prospects as we are already highly qualified before signing up for this course. There are government as well private sector jobs available to the students with a good deal.

The total amount paid by the students are ? 2,50,000 for the one year course. It is an inexpensive fee structure and very affordable too. The students does not have to think much before making payment.

The college has been organising several seminars on the recent trends related to public health. The college provides some internal training to the students to make them competitive enough to face the challenges.

Admission

The admission procedure is very simple and can be followed up easily by every aspiring students. The college requires us to hold a medical degree from any recognised medical college to get enrolled in this college.

I was happy with the faculty members. They provide equal opportunity to every student without being biased. They are genuinely working towards to make a better place for people to live. They provide us moral support too.

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

Economics Hons can offer financial assistance and become great consultation too. So from Deloitte or the Big 4 many consultancy firms such as BCG and many more may not be that big but do come to our campus for recruitments.

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Placement Experience:

Honestly, placements at SRCC are really strong, and that’s one of the main reasons everyone wants to study here. Most students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th or 6th semester, and usually, the internships you do in the 5th semester also help you get a final offer later.
