Course Curriculum Overview
The course is of 4 years consist 8 semesters. The course comprises of knowledge on all the requirements of the leather industry both in terms of goods and apparel. The course develops an ability in students to handle different materials for different product types in leather. The course is chill, easy and interesting for those students who possess creativity with an artistic flair and have an innovative, unique style of thinking.
Placement Experience
100% placements are offered by college in top recuriting companies like Puma, Bata, Carlton London, Aditya birla group, Damilano etc. The highest salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month approximately and the minimum was about Rs. 10,000 per month. Many of my batchmates were recurited in the positions of manager and assistant manager. Our college also has a separate placement cell which help students in personality development and for future interviews.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fee for this 4 years course is Rupees 6,23100. It includes all charges like tution fee, library fee, mediclaim fee, student development fee, exam, security and registration fee. Overall the fee structure is feasible and reliable according to the course duration and facilities provided by college.
Campus Life
Life at FDDI outside the classroom is as interesting and invigorating. There are more than 50 student clubs plus community service opportunities and activities students won't want to miss like College fest and Alumni Day. Several clubs and associations are also formed by students are Student union, cultural association, Blush magazine, Black student union, art collective etc. Participation in these activities on campus gives students a valuable learning experience.
Hostel Facilities
FDDI hostel is well maintained with good infrastructure. It have wifi facilities along with medical and other facilities. Spacious rooms with attached bath are available for both boys and girls. The fees of hostel is also feasible and inexpensive. The hostel fees is 18,000 per semester excluding mess.
Admission
I select this course over other courses as the demand of leather goods are increasing at a global level and this course make students stand out in a creative world. I got admission in this institute after qualifying FDDI AIST entrance examination followed by some interview rounds and counselling.
Faculty
All faculty members are smart, professional and experienced. They teach students with so much of enthusiasm and motivation. They help us in each n everything related to academics as well as mentor students about personal life. College provides many training classes from abroad faculties. They give us exposure about opportunities in foreign.
