My PhD journey

The course curriculum is interesting and mostly focuses on research work. The course structure is based on the latest syllabus. The labs are frequent and exams are taken by the university after completion of every semester.

The placement is good at this college. Most students went for higher studies and others get a job from the college. I went to start a business of my own and it is working good. The placement cell in the college work on the overall development of the student.

There are not many events in this college. But many famous days are celebrated in this college such as hostel day, freshers day. Some festivals are also celebrated by the college. Cultural and technical communities also organise events for the students.

The fess here is very low. It is about Rs. 25,000 for one year. As I am a PhD student, I got a stipend of Rs. 25,000 so, it is very easy to pay the fees. Masters students also get a stipend of Rs. 15,000.

There are not many extracurricular activities at this college. Most of the time students are busy in research-oriented work and in the labs performing experiments. The college organises some workshops for the students.

After giving JAM or JNCASR?s written test. I was called by the university for an interview session. Only those candidates who are passed in the test will be called. Gate score is also needed to get admission in this college. It is easy to get admission in this college.

The faculty in this college are highly educated and have a doctorate degree. They have high experience in teaching. They are very helpful to the students in learning all the doubts related to the course.
