Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well planned with the academic syllabus. it is prepared keeping in mind the day-to-day routine of the students. Exams are conducted at the end of each semester. However, a tri semester is also conducted.

Placement Experience

Specialists dont need situation openings yet at the same time dayanand Medical school is the best school in punjab. That being said answers the requirement for position and employment opportunites after the degree.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fees might not be affordable for students from each and every social and economic background. I paid nearly rupees 3,35,000 format duration of 4 years in nursing. My department has allocation for hundred students only.

Campus Life

The campus life isnt that great extremely, the sex proportion is female prevalent , social decent variety is there due to nri understudies from USA and canada generally, sexual direction is straight , governmental issues is just found in the workforce of the school.

Admission

The admission into this medical college is possible through the counselling round that is conducted after the declaration of the merit list from the college. A minimum of 75% it is required to spot a possibility for getting a seat.

Faculty

The faculty of this college have a great sense of humour. They never outrun our opinion, rather they always encouraged us to overcome and ride against our drawbacks. Our queries are always appreciated and answered in a peaceful manner.

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty,their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .

True experience of a SLIET Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in Robotics and my parents wanted me to take a core branch. The curriculum is not very relevant but some topics are good and related like modern welding technologies and manufacturing techniques. I think our college curriculum needs to be updated where more new world technologies like AR and VRs should be taught with advance robotics. Teaching methods used are classical I think professors should try to use smart classrooms to visualise the concept to make it better understandable. Exams are moderate level but I think our college needs to reduce exam frequency although we have time but due to exams nearly every month it doesn't feel good.
