Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are held like any other college. First practicals and then main exam at the end of the semester. Their are 6 semesters in this 3 year course which covers the main core subjects of physics, and a part of chemistry and maths.

Yes, placements and job opportunities are offered in Bankim Sardar College. Though the opportunities are not much but some of the Bachelor of Science students got job opportunities in big companies .

College Events

Events and activities are held regularly like competitions, seminars, workshops, games etc. Quizzes are also held in which many students participate. NCC is also held for us to excel in sports in which we enjoy thoroughly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure here is one of the cheapest for such an amazing college. My fee for B.sc(Physics) was ?4,040 per year including ?900 of tuition fee. So, Total fees for 3 years is ?12,120 which is very feasible and easy to afford.

Campus Life

Facilities are good enough for us to enjoy our college hours. They have easy access to seamless WiFi. Their is canteen whose quality of food I would rate as more than average. Their is a ground in which many events takes place.

Admission

Admission is based on the merit list published by the college. You have to fill the admission form in detail including the documents required and later the college will upload the merit list. You have to pay the fee after that to get admission.

Faculty

In my department, the faculty was highly experienced and qualified in their fields. They were supportive and helped even after college hours if needed. Various initiatives were taken up by the college in which teachers had to stay late in college for their students.

Shaping My Future: A Comprehensive Review of College Life and Academics

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.
