Course Curriculum Overview
This 2 year Integrated Marketing communications programme includes subjects such as advertising, public relations, media planning and buying, digital communications, entertainment management, journalism and events broadly. Exams are conducted every semester along with internals. Marks for every semester are based on these exams.
Placement Experience
This is a college like no other in terms of placements and internships. Students are called from recruiters of huge companies. Students studying in the field of Media are placed at prestigious Media houses.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There are no complaints in relation to the fee structure. It may seem a lot but it's all worth it because of the placements,internships and apprenticeship opportunities or for such brilliant faculty.
Fees and Financial Aid
This college provides scholarships as well as loans. ?40,000 is awarded every semester on the basis of academic performance and industry feedback during internships. Also, ?40,000 is awarded to 2 students every year based on their academic performance. Education loan facility is available for Avanse Education Loans.
Campus Life
Small events, activities and workshops are conducted from time to time in the college. This college also offers two days workshops in the field of marketing, brand management, rural and digital communications.
Admission
Firstly, an Admission Test is held which is of 90 minutes. Then a Psychological Test which is finally followed by a Personality Test. It a 1.5 hour long test. If a student has given other exams like CAT/MAT etc then it is also acceptable in place of the Admission Test.
Faculty
In my opinion, faculty of DSC is outstanding. It is filled with experienced and qualified professors who are ready to help whenever required. They maintain a friendly relation with their students to make learning fun. They all are well versed with their subject.
