Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was well designed and well taught. The curriculum includes the subjects of Financial Accounting, Business Management, Economics, corporate tax, company law etc. The curriculum was basically a three years course. The exam structure was not at all hectic. The college conducts unit test and class test on regular basis. We have to give final examination at the end of every year.

Placement Experience

4

Our college doesnot provide any Placement opportunities for the students. After completing my course, i go for higher studies. But there are many job opportunities after completing the course. Students after qualifying their course can join in school, Government department and private companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure was very much feasible. My total fees was around 6500 rupees which includes admission fees, library fees, tution fees, sports fees etc. I paid around 2100 rupees yearly. The fees was very good and less as compared to other colleges and universities.

Campus Life

The college provides many opportunities for its students by organizing many extracurricular activities. Many indoor and outdoor activities are organized in our college. The college organizes many cultural functions on its annual function day. Besides these activities, many sports activities are also organized on annual sports day of the college. We really get encouraged by participating in all the activities.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of our college was very strong. The college has an alumni association which was known as Bethuadahari College Alumni Association. The Alumni association organise Alumni meet every year. In the alumni meet, all past and present students interact with each. Most of the seniors who passed out from this college are very successful in their own career. We have a very good relation with our seniors. They are very helpful and supporting.

Admission

The admission process in our depends upon the results in the last qualifying examination. Students after qualifying their higher secondary examination are eligible to apply for admission in this course. Admission in this course was fully based on merit.

Faculty

Faculties of our college are very friendly with all the students. They are very determined and dedicated towards the students. Their teaching skills are very excellent and impressive. They are always ready to help us whenever we need them.

Placement Experience:

The senario of placement in all of the private colleges of West Bengal are more or less the same. Majority of the students are placed in Service Based Companies like TCS, Wirpo, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Cognizent, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. These companies offer anywhere from 3.6 to 6 lpa packages. Only a handful of Product based companies come in these private colleges and cherry pick 2-3 student per college only. This is the reality of all the private colleges, not just our college. If you want to crack a high paying job, you will have to do it off campus. The students are eligible for internships from the 6th semester itself. The college does try to provide internship to students but only a few students end up getting the internships and most students need to find internships on their own. Some companies which came in 24-25 session which offered an internship and PPO are Amazon, SAP Labs, Accenture, etc. For a detailed placement stat, go to our college's website and look for training and placement stats. The college is honest in putting these stats. The stats are mostly reliable. The highest off campus placement in 24-25 session was by Snehadeep De, who secured a SDE role in Amazon with 47 lpa CTC. This was off campus so the college had no role to play here. The highest on campus placement was by two students in the company Juspay. They were offered the SDE role for 27 lpa CTC. The average placement of all the CS branches will be around 5-6 lpa. And approximately around 60-65% of the students get placed. This is the ground reality. And its the same in all of the WB private colleges. If you want to keep a backup option in case you don't want to get a 3.6 lpa job then start preparing for GATE, CAT or Civil Services from your second year. Its always preferred to have a backup option cause you can't trust a private college for providing you jobs.

After the 6th semester we are eligible for the internship, also we can apply for both on campus and off campus placements. In our college some companies like Geotech, Infosys, Code Clouds, Unibit solutions visit every year. Average package is in the range of 3.5-5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is nearly 6-7Lpa. But post covid time our placement record decreased a bit. Nearly about 80-85% of CSE students get placed every year. Also I am currently appearing in interview of different companies for placement.
