Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum mainly focuses on the history of the English literature, American literature, non-fiction, fiction, biography and autobiography of all sorts. There is no entrance exam for this course, the admission is done on the basis of merit list.

Placement Experience

I'll be honest, the college does not have many internship opportunities, especially in our course. However, it is my advice to not be totally dependant on the college, look for online internships in creative writing, blogging or proofreading. The placement of the college is decent, although good companies come for recruitment, the stipend offered is very low.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The annual fee for this course is as cheap one time meal in any restaurant. The fee is approximately 1,500 rs per year or 4500 rs for the entire 3-year course. The cheap fee along with top-class faculty and good infrastructure makes this college the most preferred one.

Campus Life

The college has a lot of societies like drama, literature, singing, dancing, debate and painting which gives students a chance to excel in fields other than academics. The college has an anti-raging team which takes special care of the freshers and make them feel comfortable and safe.

Admission

I have always found myself indulged in classic novels and dramas so after I cleared my high school education, I wanted to pursue English sue to the interest I had developed in the course. I visited the official website for an online application form along with the application fee through any online payment mode, after a couple of days, the merit list came out and I was asked to report in the college for admission along with the documents.

Faculty

The professors possess deep knowledge about the subject they have expertise in, they are co-operative and make even the most complex novels turn into simpler ones by converting the books into theatre or drama theme.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.
