CET,I choose this course because I had a passion to be an mechanical engineer working in some big automobile company.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is given and prepared by Pune university,course is the best compared to other universities in India.Also the college staff is experienced making the students take out the most of the course.

Internships Opportunities

Various companies like Tata motors,force motors,etc came to offer internships for students currently. I have no idea about stipend,but the college placements are good since the students studying here pass out with flying colours.

The labs and exam structure are very cool and nicely organised by college and the university.Each year has two semester in which students have to appear for 3-4 exams.

Faculty is the best among engineering colleges in Pune very experienced staff with high knowledge and in depth knowledge regarding course,subjects.Very friendly to help and assist students.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

The real side

I didn't chose this college, it was a mistake, I mean literally 70% students who are not local here tend to choose this college by mistake, because the college's name resembles one of the famous college in Pune, they tend to choose this college because they think that this is the main branch. I didn't got any rejection from any other college but this was a mistake from my side to choose this college as there was only 2 rounds of admission process in the covid time so i was left with no iption but to choose this college.
