Remarks :

Our college gives quality education. The library has a lots of books and online catalogue which makes lending easier. Placement opportunities are good. Hostel facilities are good and in mess they provide good food. Many extracurricular activities are available in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course was based on classroom learning. The exam was conducted at the end of the semester. The exams marks are assessed based on internal and external assessment. The maximum marks for internal assessment is 50 and end semester exam is 50. The internal marks include class participation, internal test, project, presentation and viva.

Placement Experience :

College takes initiative in bringing recruitments for placement. Many companies like ICIC, Amarchand mangaldas, Trilegal and other companies like khaitan & co. ,Thomson reuters and Federal bank hire lawyers from our college with good package up to 17 lakh. Students are offered with roles like legal associate and junior associate. It is mandatory to do internship for minimum 15 days at the end of the semester. The minimum stipend provided during internship is ?8000 -? 25,000 per month.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure is expensive. My course duration is for 5 years. The total fees paid for overall is ?9.49 lakh. This fees was included admission fees, tuition fees, examination fees and other fees. The admission fees was paid at first year only. Students belonging from, SC/ST and other eligible community are eligible for educational concessions provided from the Government of Kerala.

Campus Life :

Our college conducts inner semester football competition which is a premium football match held between team of students from different batches. Our college host cricket team practice sessions and other inner semester competitions. There will annual sport events conducted every year. Every gender in our college are treated equally.

Hostel Facilities :

The college has both boys and girls hostel. The hostel room has triple sharing room with attached bathroom. Each floor of the hostel are provided with water coolers, purifiers and fridge. Students are provided with indoor game facilities such as caroms, chess and badminton.

Admission :

Eligibility for the admission based on CLAT score and cut off. Students were assessed based on their logical reasoning, English, math, law and general knowledge. I applied for the admission in the college. I wrote my CLAT exam and got good score. I attended my counseling after qualifying the exam. I got admitted in the college.

Faculty :

Our faculties has a adequate knowledge on the particular subject which they are handle for their teaching. Our faculties some of them are retired lawyers who had practiced from high court and supreme court. Our faculties have lot of experience in their field and most of them are doctorate holders.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements ie; at the beginning of second year itself . Students are eligible with a CGPA of 7 for most of the companies visiting Amrita School of Business, Kochi. Most of the banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI BANK etc comes for placement. Also PWC, Deloitte, BNY Mellon etc comes for placement. Many marketing companies like World of Stones, Exide batteries etc will come for placements. Good companies are more coming for placements. Avg package is 6 lakhs and highest is 14 lakhs. Almost 98% gets placed from college.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
