My College Review

Course structure was not good the same syllabus was going on for last twenty years. In fact, there was repetition of questions every year. It was exam oriented course structure not research oriented. People studied only for exams not more than that. In fact, many times due to the repetition of questions, teachers covered only some topics.

They are fair enough. So far we have not had many great placements where we would fit in. Usually the companies want economics students or commerce students. So it kind of is not as enthusiastic for my course but I am not complaining.

The fee structure is feasible. I personally feel its reasonable given they take it once a year. I mean there is nothing else to say about it really. I paid around 6,000 for one year so i guess its okay. Also, did i mention the online submission thing its so convenient.

Campus life is great. I mean you learn to be independent. You learn how to watch out for yourself and take care. You learn how to handle and save money. You experience being broke all the time. Then you learn the value of money. Gender ratio is somewhat evened out. I do not know the statistics. The diversity is great.

I have had really amazing seniors and so far I did not meet any alumni as such and neither did i require any help. I may require help in the future but that is something that I will worry about coming year. Being a part of the alumni group I feel really good for being part of this college.

I applied to this college from their website . The courses are offered to the students on the basis of marks obtained in last qualifying exam. In my case it was my class 12th exam. I applied to the university and the admission procedure is not at all tough. You can easily get through the counselling process .

Faculty of Economic department was good in terms of teaching and also in terms of their qualification. All of them were PhD holders. They used to teach English no matter if there was any Hindi medium student. All the teachers were Brahminical in nature but financially they assisted good students if anyone needed the money.
