Course Curriculum Overview

For M.Sc Chemistry the course curriculum is quite precise. The entire focus of it is well researched and consists of all the latest upgraded topics. The laboratories of the chemistry department are again decent with all the types of equipment.

Placement Experience

As I am still pursuing the course, I don't have a very definite idea regarding the placement. Although, I can say that I have seen numerous big organization visiting in the campus. Besides, the senior students have shared their experience with us and they are doing really well after passing the course.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Combining the two years course and 4 semesters, the total fees that I have to pay for the entire M.Sc course is 36,300 INR. The amount combines the tuition fees and other fees for all the four semesters.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities like sports and functions are known to held within the campus. Likewise, the campus has also been a part of numerous other events, programs, and workshops on the academic level. Throughout my one year stay, I did not notice any kind of racial discrimination on the campus.

Alumni/Alumna

NIT college seniors and alumni are rather helpful and jolly, to be honest. They have always been polite to us. I have learned a lot from them. My interaction with them has mostly been on academic level, but I have always found them supportive in distinct other circumstances.

Admission

NIT College admission includes the JAM entrance exam as well as the Counselling program. I had to have a B.Sc Honors degree from a relevant university. The process was quite simple to understand and did not take much time.

Faculty

To talk about the college faculty, I would say each of them is exceptional in their own way. Also, the professors are supportive and the lectures they provide are very helpful for the examinations. They also keep telling us about future opportunities after the master's degree course.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Although my was poor but my family always support me to finished graduation at any cost. For year there was 2 exam (1st year) every exam I payed 2000rs to 2500rs as a examination form fillup fee. For every year I payed admission fee of 3500rs to 4500rs continuously for 3 consecutive years.

Placement Experience:

From 3 semester students become eligible for campus placement. The name of the companies which visited are ICICI Bank Newgen Tata digit etc. 85.9% of cse student got placed. The highest package was 42 LPA and average package is 8to 11 LPA. I wanted to start my own company. Our college also provide us the experience by giving us internship opportunity.

IIIT MANIPUR , YOU SHOULD OPT. OR NOT?

Placement Experience:

Placements are overall good for CSE departments. Average package is 10-12 lpa,and placement percentage is also about 76 % not all placement are campus based some are off campus placement .This is too less as compased to other IIITs .The placement in ece department is about 8-10 lpa which is also very less compared to other IIITs.

The syllabus is based on the new NEP 2020.So it is well rounded.For exams we must prepare for internal assesment as well as projects.And it is a must.The students have to give the exam in time.If not they will get back exams .And there is some fine.

From the 6th sem, students become eligible. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Accenture, Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, and several other companies come. The highest package was around 35 LPA and the average is around 5-6 LPA. Every time 95% of students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As arts students during my +12 course and economics was also in it(course). I chose economics considering my background. And it was fun and interesting for me to study. All of my teachers were M.phill+ Phd and well experience in teaching. The method of teaching was good and teach in way that help the students to well understood The exams were held every after four months of course in each semester. There was no difficulty to pass the exams if the students attend the lecture regularly

About NIT MANIPUR

I have applied to many private collages like LPU, Paurul univerity , Saastra , vit , klu, vignan , DR. MGR, satyabhama like these many collages. And i got confirmed admission from NIT MANIPUR . By writing JEE mains i got good percentile and kept for councling and NTA has alloted this collage. As it is good collage i also accepted the seat . No i didn't get rejection letter from any institution .so nothing went wrong .
