Course Curriculum Overview

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE [B.SC] {HONS.} course is the same as in any other government college of Wet Bengal but here you have top-class facilities provided to the students and the curriculum is also well defined.

Placement Experience

Job opportunities are mainly dependent on how well you have scored throughout your course. You can pursue an internship in nearby hospitals is okay. The stipend is also given which is around Rs 5,000 per month

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is less and is actually ?41,333 per year. But this fee doesn't include any hostel or mess charges and are charged extra per person. Hostel facilities charge you around Rs 6,000 per month which includes mess facility also.

Campus Life

There are good labs in the college for all the students. The gender ratio is around 4:3 (Boys: Girls) which is only seen in medical colleges. There is sports ground for all sports like cricket, football, etc.

Seniors are very much helpful In this College. They help you in your personal problems, and also in any academics related problems. They motivate you to study more and encourage us to take higher education as well for a better placement

Admission

You must hold a valid 10+2 degree from a recognized board established under a state or the central government. You applications' acceptance and rejection will solemnly depend on the marks yo have scored in 10+2.

The faculty of this college are highly qualified. This is a private college and the labs are very well setup were highly trained PG are present to instruct up. At the end of, faculties are that determine how good a college is.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
