Entrance Preview

BHU UET entrance exam. I score 256 out of 450. I choose this college because it is one of the prestigious college for UG courses in india.

Internships Opportunities

As in our college IIT BHU is also present so various companies like facebook, goole, oracle, TCS, etc comes every year.BUT according to my faculty there is no campus placement for BSc. graduate students. So I don't have any internship experience. BUT through various source i came to know that during internship they provide 8000 to 16000 rs give per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

YES our college avail a state government scholarship facility and for economically backward student the is EARN WHILE LEARN scheme is there. These both scholarship I had availed.

Hostel Facilities

FOR about 50% students there is hostel facility in the campus. Rooms are shared by 2 students, rooms are quiet nice and can be adjustable. TThere is 24 hours electricity and water facility. Hostels have lush green lawn for peace. The average PG rent is about 5000 rs per month.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

I want to comment on the alumni that they are very helpful. In every step of academic and general life they used to guide us. They show the path how to do any work and tells that at this point they have made the mistake and tells not to repeat by us.

Exam Structure

Exam structure of campus is very simple it is a semester system. For every semester there are papers , practicals , mid sems. Etc. Theory classes are quiet boring but practicals are interesting.

Faculty of my college is very nice .There are many meritorious professors in my faculty.Professor C.N. RAO who was awarded with bharat ratna was also a faculty member of my chemistry department. Other are also awarded with national awards.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For mathematics it has the syllabus and for physics also defense studies is the subject that I'm here . I'm in 1st year so there is some baiscs so i can't say that it has a lide changing chapters but i have heard that in 2nd year it is going to be very interesting. And I'm very excited!!. All three subjects are very interesting but I'm also seeing mathematics as an interesting subject . If you want to be a scholar in the university you have to choose your favorite subject and just stick to it, it'll be very helpful. Yes for skill development class if students want tp learn that skill for real please teach them carefully, otherwise it's just waste of money time and effort. Timings are good there are back to back exams in which you'll be preparing for exam for whole year not a single month to waste which is good from my perspective. Difficulty level is moderate, if you solve pyqs and similar questions you will score good in exams . You will require good amount of practice and speed for 3 hour exam .

I choose bsc bioinformatics as I love programming and research sector as I took pcb in 11th ... I couldn't go for btech ... But then I researched and found about this course which need computer skills with biology background.. a perfect match for someone like me.. after the pandemic and technical growth in biology sector .. bioinformatics became one of the most growing area .. In india it's rare to find people know about this is even a sector so yeah less competition and big opportunities to work abroad .. But I am pursuing this course in this college which have very bad curriculum..the faculty isn't proper to teach us about bioinformatics and we are just study the syllabus of biotech in a mixed class ... I will rate it's a bad idea to pursue bioinformatics from Swami vivekanand subharti university...

MBA Agribusiness (FMS BHU) is a decent course with fees of 1 lakhs per annum and an average package of 3.5 lakhs. The course is run in barkacha campus of BHU which is in Mirzapur. The faculty is good and dedicated. There is no scope for HR or operations but marketing and finance placements are popular especially marketing. Although it is an Agribusiness course, placement ranges from Agri input companies to FMCG companies. The campus atmosphere is good and pleasant.
