Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is divided into 8 semesters also college conducts internal exams. In six semesters includes internship to gain practical knowledge about the field also enhances the learning process.

Placement Experience

In our department placements were quite decent. Many MNC and Indian companies came for campus recruitment. Placements are quite good, the college provides various kinds of internship especially to crack the placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For B.TECH Agricultural Engineering fee is around INR 20 thousands. The fee is feasible to afford by every student which have the inclusion of tuition and other fees. They also have various scholarship programs and seats reserved for SC/ST category.

Campus Life

As college is located in Chhatisgarh we celebrated different festivals together also various events hosted in college debates, Drama clubs were organized. Some of them are Agri-manifest, Hindi pakhwada, Kishan Mela, programs on various occasions like Gandhi Jayanti and many more such events.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and they porovides all the notes and also they guides us how to prepare for future goals and which books to be read during exams and for entrance exam too. The college really had some great alumni and they all are connected to us.

Admission

The college offers admission to its courses on the basis of marks obtained in PAT (Pre- Agriculture Test) exam. The exam is conducted by the university itself. The students are required to fill the online application form from the college website.

Faculty

Most of the faculty members were quite good. Good enough to teach us basics, as well as a high level of research but the senior faculties, take very fewer classes. The overall nice learning experience and assist us with all our problems.

Placement Experience:

Every year, good law firms from tier 1 and 2 classes and corporate companies take placements from our college. The students become eligible for placement from the 9th semester itself. In my batch, every student who registered for placement got placed in a law firm. I didn't opt for placement as I have other plans of doing a Master's further after my graduation.

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we can sit in interviews but the companies are far too less, like in last year only 6 companies came to campus at all, with an average package of ?3,00,000 and about 15 students got placed from Entire BTech, like 15 out of 500 students that too for sales roles

IGKV, a very affordable yet very complicated place to live inn

I didn't applied to another colleges, I wanted to study in IGKV so I gave the competitive exam PAT for admission here.
