Course Curriculum Overview

I did my Bachelors in Chemistry line because of my interest to become a teacher in the same field. Our curriculum covered a wide range of topics, both the theoretical side and the practical side also. The quality of teaching is also good.

Placement Experience

The record of placements is good. On an average 65% of the students are being placed every year in different companies with an average salary package of 6L in a year. This university brings in many of the companies who are seeking for interns also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is not expensive at all, let me brief you on it. For all the three years of college you will be paying close to 5000/- and totally 16,000/- everything together. We had good hostel facilities as well.

Campus Life

You can enjoy your campus life in this university. The environment is very friendly. Students can actively participate in all the activities whichever they like. You will have a good relationship with your seniors too.

Admission

I completed my Bachelors from Asansol Girls College. You need to apply online only for application. In one application you can choose 5 courses of your wish. Like any other college, the minimum marks to qualify is 45% in your 10+2 examinations from a reputed college is enough.

My faculty members are very friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive to all of us. They regularly interact with each of the students and their main motive is to help in the overall development of student.

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

A holistic experience: my journey at CFI college of Law

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd say the BBA LLB curriculam si quite relevent and comprehensive. the blend of business management and legal studies really made me choose this course because it gives a holistic understanding of both fields. The curriculum is pretty practical and prepares us well for real- world applications like internships and moot courts and also sets a strong foundation dor further studies in law. In term of Imporvements i think the curruculum could benefit from more interactive workshops and practical training sessions and somtimes a bit more hands on experience and indusry exposure help bridge the gap between thoery and practice. Regarding exams, I find the frequency and timing are well balanced. the semester exams come at a good pace and whike some subjects can be challenging they are definately manageable with consisnent study.

The applied for Chandigarh University.I got confirmed admission from the CU and AGC.I choose Asansol GIRLS college because it is affordable for my parents and it is near to my house..CU fees structure is very expensive. I didn't get any rejection from any other college that I applied too. The admission process of my college is very simple all you need to do to fill the form and provide necessary details of 10th and 12th exam. And submit after a month the list will be released on the official website of my college. After checking your name, you need to pay the require amount for the courses.. after few days they will call you for documents verification and there's no mandatory exams for admission, 12th result is sufficient.My overall experience is good....Read More
