Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum for the 5 year BA LLB course is very hectic. The course content is very vast and there are a lot of subjects to cover. There are several different specializations offered, like Maritime Law, Forensic Science, Psychological Medicine & Law and Media & Telecommunications Law.
Placement Experience :
National University of Advanced Legal Studies has several opportunities with regards to placements and such. The departments have tie-ups with several reputed law firms, NGO's and independent practitioners of law such as CRY, Adv. Ramesh Babu,Sr Adv George Philip etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The Admission Fee is Rs. 5,000/-, Tuition Fee is Rs. 80,000/-, the Library Fee is Rs. 7,000/-, Campus Development & Infrastructure Fee is Rs. 12,000/-, Caution Deposit (Refundable) is Rs. 5,000/-, the Information System Facilities Fee is Rs. 6,550/-, the Students' Council fee is Rs. 2,000/-, the Quasi University fee is Rs. 200/-, the Bus fee is Rs. 1,000/-, Medical/Gym/Fitness Fee is Rs. 5,000/-, the Matriculation fee is Rs. 250/- (At the time of admission), the Recognition fee is Rs. 200 (for candidates coming from Institutions outside Kerala), Contribution towards PTA Fund is Rs. 1,000/- (At the time of admission) and the Alumni Association Fee is Rs. 1,000/- (At the time of leaving the institution after completing the course)
Campus Life :
The college has an excellent and well-stocked Gym and several facilities for the students for extracurricular activities. There is a great fitness club, and other indoor games as well. Courts for Football, Cricket, Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Shuttle, Badminton etc. are also there.
Hostel Facilities :
The Hostel Rent is Rs.17,500/-(Per annum), Hostel Deposit (Refundable) is Rs. 6,000/-(at the time of admission to the hostel), Hostel Amenities Charges are Rs. 6,000/- (Per annum), the Mess Advance is Rs. 30,000/- (Per annum), and the Establishment Advance is Rs. 5,000/- (Per annum). The hostel is clean, hygienic and the food is quite good as well.
Admission :
The admission is done on the basis of the marks obtained in the Common Law Admission Test(CLAT). The process for the admission is pretty simple and straightforward, you just have to submit the admission form on the official website and pay the registration fee online.
Faculty :
The faculty at the National University of Advanced Legal Studies is excellent, very experienced and well qualified. They use many different methods of teaching apart from lectures such as discussions, case studies, moot courts and different project works.
