Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for this college is quite good. There is detailed content regarding the subject. The quality of education is quite good and average. This college provides various practical sessions which help to build a strong grip on the skills.

The placement and job opportunities of this college are well-satisfactory. As every year about 100% of the students get placement in various multinational companies. They offer a great number of packages to the students. The average package of this college was about 10 Lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for this college is very expensive. I used to pay about 2 Lakhs on a yearly basis. Students can opt for an education loan in order to pay the fees. Although this college provides every facility which can make the fees worthwhile.

Right from sports activities to the entrepreneurship cell, this college provides a huge number of extracurricular activities to the students of this college for the overall and perfect development of the students.

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

I choose this course because it is rare and it have high potential in national as well international level. But in this college they don't have enough facilities to teach so it won't prepare a student for real-world application. They should include seperate good lab facilities for environmental studies,need permanent teachers and placement activities should be provided. Exams are semester wise and they are easy and easily prepared within short period of time

By completing the last semester students are eligible for campus placement. There is a very large number of companies recruited from the campus including IT companies like Infosys, Technocrat, etc. The average package is more than 15k.
