NIT Calicut had a good reputation and legacy. Students from different parts of India, with different talents come together and study together. Here not only studies are given importance but the extra co -curricular are also done and enjoyed by the student community.Students Affair Council is the organization that acts the bridge between students community and the administration.I mainly referred to Youtube to get the reviews about the college.

NIT offers B.Tech , M.Tech , PhB and MBA courses.Generally 4500 students join the B.Tech programme every year in the month of July.Classes commences from August 1st.The faculty to student ratio is nearly 1:30most of the faculties are B.Tech + M.Tech qualified and some of them even have done their PhD from reputed IITs/IISc or from some foreign universities.Most of the Teachers are friendly in nature.In each semester their are 2 small terms exams t1 and t2 and one end sem exam + some extra assignments/quizzes. A student who generally studies whatever is taught in class can easily pass the exams.to get S grade (highest grade in the academics) , one has to also study a little bit from their own from outside and put in some extra efforts.

Yes, I got internship in DE Shaw -1Lac/monthInternship Drive of the College is good. They conduct in a very good mannerism. They call up good companies to visit our campus. The roles offered are Software Developer, data Analyst. Most of the Good Companies visit in the month of august , and it continues foe 1-2 months.Most of the companies CTC ranges from 50k to 1lac /month.

Placements are held in the 4th year.There is seperate Department responsible for placement called Centre of Training And Placement.It ensure that all the students apply for placements drive and most of the students gets the job through campus placements itself.They call vey good companies to visit our Campus.the average package of college is 8LPA.for CSE the average is 15LPA.Some companies that visit our campus are - DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft , Amazon , Flipkart , Cisco , wipro , Jp Morgan , Oracle, MRF etc.

For each semester the basic fees( for general) is 64k.it may vary from category to category.fee structure of college can be viewed on nitc.ac.inOur college also offers different scholarships that the Kerala state provides.Every document need to be submitted at the office with proper authenticity to avail the scholarship.Financial assistance is given by the SBI bank present near the college, for the needy students.

1 cultural fest - RAGAM (held in Jan/Feb)1 Tech Fest - TATHVA (held in October)1 Central library - having ebooks, Digital Library , eqipped with AC.A new central Library building has been made in 2021.There is 1 Physical Department in the College controlling all the sports activities and helding the inter branch competitions or inter NIT sports competition.There is 1 Cricket ground, Football ground , 1 basket ball court , 1 Swimming pool, 1 gym.1 Open Air Theatre.There are lots of clubs formed by the students.Some are Literary and Debating Club, Music Club, Adventure Club , Robotics Club etc.

We get admission only through JEE held every year.Any 12th pass candidate can give JEE exam and can get admission in NIT only after he pass the JEE exam and apply for JOSAA Counsellling.JEE , its a 3 hrs exam consisting of 90 question , 30 from Physics, Maths and chemistry each. Both 11th and 12th syllabus is asked. it basically checks ones's speed and conceptual knowledge but not so deep. question are of easy to moderate level.
