Karimganj College Review

BA Bengali course is an undergraduate course which deals with Bangla Literature and Language. The course includes Bengali Literature, poetry and grammar and includes subjects like History of Literature (Ancient & Medieval), Socio-Cultural Background of Bengali, Bengali Linguistics & Prosody and many more.

No placements or internships were offered during our time. The faculty members help you with the career aspects of your course. But the students have found jobs on their own in various fields like Interpreter, Lead Features Editor, Content Editor, Journalist, Bilingual Call Centre, Customer Service Representative, Letter translator, among others such.

Since ours was a government college therefore fee could be as low as possible. the fee was Rs.3,025 for first year, Rs. 2,745 for second year and Rs. 2,715 for third year. Therefore my three year course was completed in Rs.8,485 which was nominal.

The college celebrates every major events like teachers day, gandhi jayanti, republic day, independence day. They also celebrated every festival where students used to give various performances and helped candidates to enhance their performance.

The college admission process is quite different from others. You need to buy the prospectus from the college and then fill the application form on the college official website. The prospectus contains unique id which needs to be filled in the online application form and submit the form with all the correct information and wait for the merit list to be published.

The faculty members Knew the material well enough to emphasize the most important aspects and Highlighted main ideas. They were Sincerely interested in the subject matter and Developed own unique style of humanism.
