Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was very good and easy. It was a two years course which was divided into four semester. In the curriculum, we have to study about human beings, their development and culture. It was a very interesting course. Theory and practicals are important part of the curriculum. The university conducts Internal Assessment and final examination in each semester which was based on both theory and practical papers. The marks distribution for theory paper was 70 and 30 for Internal Assessment.

Placement Experience

3

Placement was not good in our university. But after completing the course, there are many career options in the field of anthropology. Anthropologist can start their career in different schools, colleges, universities, government agencies, business, health and human services etc. After completing my course, i join as a teacher in a private school.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As per the education and facilities provided by the university, the fees was quite feasible and good. My total fees was around 15000 rupees. At the time of admission, i paid around 5500 rupees which includes admission fees, library fees, laboratory fees, semester fees etc. In every semester, i paid around 3000 rupees which was very less. My hostel fees was around 4700 rupees yearly. I was very happy and satisfied with my fees.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are an important part of our university. The university excels not only in academic, but also gives importance in its extra curricular activities. The university provides maximum sports activities like gymnastics, ludo, chess, kabaddi, volleyball, football etc. These activities are organized to enable the students to achieve a healthy and enjoyable life.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel infrastructure and facilities was average in our university. There was separate hostels for both boys and girls. The environment of the hostel was very calm and peaceful. Facilities provided by the hostel was refrigerator, washing machine, geyser, power backup, pure drinking water etc. It was a very nice experience for me to stay in hostel.

Admission

The admission process in our university depends upon the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination and on the performance in the entrance test. Students after qualifying their Bachelor degree with minimum 50 percent of marks in science or arts stream are eligible to apply for admission in this course. Eligible candidates have to appear an entrance test which was conducted by the University.

Faculty

4

All faculties of our university have deep knowledge in their respective subjects. Teachers are very warm and enthusiastic. They are very much confident in their subjects. They not only gives importance on theoretical knowledge but gives equal importance on its practicals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.
