Course Curriculum Overview

There is no entrance exam here, you will be selected totally on merit-based. Our course structure was up to date. It covered everything needed for the course. I chose Physics so we had many lab classes.

Placement Experience

The placement process is good and some of the reputed companies come to our college. Our placement cell is very active they give us prior information about the company. All the knowledge is provided to help us during interview. This helps us to get ready for the actual placement day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I took Honors in my Bachelors so my fees was around 6500/- for a year and for all three years put together...I would have spent 20,000/- overall. Can you believe I got my degree in 20 grand? I feel it is affordable.

Campus Life

Students can engage in lot of activities. College is good and you can think of taking admission here especially for B.Sc. Other courses are also good. You can learn many different things. Since we are a girls college you will have the maximum fun.... there are very few restrictions.

Admission

Application is through online only. You can choose 5 courses in one application. After which you need to pay for another application for more course choices. 45% aggregate is considered eligible for admission in your previous exams.

Our professors are good. They are very dedicated and are always there to clear our doubts. The quality of teaching is okay only, not that good not that bad too. We learn and do more practical implementation also which helped us a lot.

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

A holistic experience: my journey at CFI college of Law

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd say the BBA LLB curriculam si quite relevent and comprehensive. the blend of business management and legal studies really made me choose this course because it gives a holistic understanding of both fields. The curriculum is pretty practical and prepares us well for real- world applications like internships and moot courts and also sets a strong foundation dor further studies in law. In term of Imporvements i think the curruculum could benefit from more interactive workshops and practical training sessions and somtimes a bit more hands on experience and indusry exposure help bridge the gap between thoery and practice. Regarding exams, I find the frequency and timing are well balanced. the semester exams come at a good pace and whike some subjects can be challenging they are definately manageable with consisnent study.

The applied for Chandigarh University.I got confirmed admission from the CU and AGC.I choose Asansol GIRLS college because it is affordable for my parents and it is near to my house..CU fees structure is very expensive. I didn't get any rejection from any other college that I applied too. The admission process of my college is very simple all you need to do to fill the form and provide necessary details of 10th and 12th exam. And submit after a month the list will be released on the official website of my college. After checking your name, you need to pay the require amount for the courses.. after few days they will call you for documents verification and there's no mandatory exams for admission, 12th result is sufficient.My overall experience is good....Read More
