Remarks

I favored this institute as it gave much more emphasis on the research part of the material engineering as it was my core selective field. Also, the college had many facilities like laboratories and a library for the students to gain maximum theoretical and practical perspectives.

Course Curriculum Overview

As to the master's degree, we had a combination of course, but here at the Ph.D. level curriculum, we have a completely research-based curriculum. However, we had a slightly different examination structure where there were experiments and research papers included in the curriculum.

Placement Experience

4

This institute was associated with national-level engineering companies so the job prospects were much if the candidates prove their worth to the interviewers. Also, the package offered by companies like Tata Steel, Renault Nissan, SAIL, Vedanta Resources after the shortlisted candidates were much higher.

College Events

4

The most joyous event organized and celebrated at the campus was the foundation day on which the institute was established. Also, the college had expert sessions, and once the education minister and chief minister were invited to the felicitation events and later on they motivated the present-day student by a short speech.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was much feasible to pay at the institute but the institute made s normal change every year. However, apart from the changes I paid 50,000 as my tuition fees including the other relevant charges at the admission window of the institute.

Campus Life

To one side we had curriculum but to the other, we had skill initiative programs where the students are taught to implement the skills practically. As there were students majorly from the similar cast and religion, programs related to it were organized as the campus activity. Also, there was an academic-based practical activity in the presence of the faculty.

Admission

Here, the basic admission criteria to be fulfilled by the student were the M.Tech degree and CSIR-NET. Also, the admission counselor took an aptitude test and interview of every candidate seeking admission. However, the procedure to apply for this course was entirely online.

Faculty

4.5

As there was much research going on at the institute, the faculties had higher qualification degrees in the core discipline. Also, they published several research papers and motivated us to do as much research work more realistically.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I love computers and I have deep intrest in computer science sk I choose this course. I learned much necessary things in the college. College should help and provide skills according to the students. There were hackathons done by the college which is a good step towards the development of students. The main focus should be in the practical knowledge than the thoery as in real world students have to deal with projects where labs practices play a major role.

Placement Experience:

the placements are preety good in this college . however currenty the job market is down so it has impacted the college placements. from 6th semester onwards students become eligible for placements however the companies visit from 7th sem onwards . many renowned companies visit along with multiple startups offering from a range 4 lpa to 24 lpa all based on the potential of the students. the college offers a 100% placement but looking at current senario it seems difficult. mostly companies hire for sowftware engineers and product manager roles but , also provide marketing and sales job roles. 25 lakhs per annum is the highest package in the recent time average package is abput 5-10 lakhs per annum. though college promises 100% placements, the actual percentage is quite low about 50-60% students are getting placed which is also a result of the current job market scenario my plans after this degree is joining a company and finding my passion . i can also tink about my own startup based on my passion to make a change in the society .
