The course extends over four years. The syllabus includes the basics and fundamentals of Agronomy, Horticulture, Entomology, Genetics and Plant Breeding among other subjects and also basic sciences and Humanities. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester. The labs are conducted frequently and are good practical experience.

The final year students in our college get good placement opportunities in good companies. There is a placement drive conducted in college every year where many students land good jobs through campus selection itself.

The fee amount for the course is feasible only. The total fee amount is Rs. 23,100 for the four year course. This amount can be paid altogether or in yearly instalments. The first year fees is Rs. 9,300 and Rs. 4,600 each for the rest three years.

The college fee is affordable comparative to other college and scholarships are provided to students on merit basis. An amount of Rs. 3000 is granted as scholarship on meritorious basis for the eligible students.

Many cultural and religious events take place in the college. There are also frequent workshops conducted for all the courses. The college environment has no sort of discrimination whatsoever and is very peaceful.

The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls on the campus itself. The hostel charges are 3,700 rupees that include all the facilities. The hostels have good security and are maintained well. The mess food provided is also good.

Our seniors were very helpful to us right from the start. They helped us get comfortable in the college environment during our initial days. They also helped us with our academic issues and exams also.

I had to clear an All India entrance exam that was conducted by the Indian council of agricultural research in New Delhi, to get admission in this college. The admissions were based on performance in this test and students can apply to this college after clearing the test.

Our college has many qualified lecturers as a part of its faculty. They conduct their classes with utmost interest and help us with all our doubts and throughout the course. They are also very supportive towards us.
